Iancu Zeno blends free jazz, avant-garde, soundtrack, ambient, and electronic influences with improvisation at it's heart. Playing the trumpet, he brings an acoustic dimension that makes each performance unique and unpredictable.

The instrument is  part of his inner voice, the air, the breathing, the energy of life.​

Fascinated about composing music, with actually no formal music education he created soundtracks, instrumental compositions  and he is continuously exploring new ways of making music.

Music is a way of expressing yourself, it can have so many meanings, it can be powerful, joyful, sad sometimes, lyrical or meaningful. The sounds have their own language so I use that to direct and communicate a  personal  message.
